LITE FORMULA

Triple Crown Lite is ideal for “easy keepers” —horses that maintain their weight on very little grain or just on grass and hay.  Normally, a horse would have to eat five to six founds of grain to derive a sufficient amount and a proper balance of vitamins and minerals.  This is especially true of growing horses.  Triple Crown Lite is so heavily fortified, you can feed a horse as few as two pounds per day.  This formula is also ideal for ponies and miniature horses.

LOW STARCH FORMULA

Not all horses are easy keepers, some require those additional calories for higher levels of performance or elevated levels of metabolism.  Since Triple Crown Low Starch has lower carbs than hay and pasture, it can be used as a complete feed to replace all or fart of (the forage) portion of the diet, which is typically unknown for its carbohydrate and starch levels.  Triple Crown Low Starch contains no corn, molasses or alfalfa meal, ingredients  many horse owners believe cause erratic behavior.  By utilizing good quality fiber sources and added fat, including rice bran and flaxseed, we can replace a number of the calories that are sacrificed by keeping the carbs low. 

Triple Crown Low Starch also has a low Potassium level (0.75%) that makes it a very good choice for horses diagnosed with HYPP.  Again, the fiber in Low Starch will allow you to replace part of your hay that can be as high as 1.5% to 2.5% potassium.

14% PERFORMANCE FORMULA

A well-balanced “sweet” feed designed for horses with specific protein needs, especially broodmares, yearlings, foals and performance horses who typically eat grass forage.  Because this ration is high in fat and numerous other alternative energy sources, it reduces the amount of feed needed to maintain excellent body condition.  In fact, its unprecedented vitamin/mineral fortification will eliminate the need for  other supplements.  In addition to be formulated with the same triple recleaned oats, barley and corn fed daily at many premier race tracks. 14% contains roasted soybeans which are high in fat and have a flavor horses love.  Triple Crown 14% now includes Rice Bran as a portion of the total fat level.                              50lb bag   $                       

Developed specifically for older horses, this formula features a higher nutrient content to compensate for a less efficient digestive system.  A higher fat content provides the extra energy older horses need.  Plus, it is softer, more easily digested and can be mixed with water to form a mash for horses who experience difficulty chewing and swallowing.  Has enough bulk fiber to be used as the sole ration for horses unable to eat hay or pasture.  It can also be used with good quality hay.
